What services do you offer?
The Behavioral Healthcare Services Program offers a full range of confidential outpatient services including individual, couples, marital, family, and group counseling and psychotherapy. We also provide specialized services such as psychiatric evaluations and medication prescriptions, psychological evaluations, and employee assistance programs for our public and private organizational clientele. An interdisciplinary team of licensed professionals in psychiatry, nursing, psychology, social work, and counseling will be involved in your care. The Program is licensed by the New Jersey Department of Human Services and accredited by the Council on Accreditation.
What types of problems do you treat?
Our Program clinicians are trained to deal with a wide range of emotional/psychological difficulties including depression, anxiety, marital/couple and family issues, child and adolescent concerns, work or school problems, stress and wellness challenges, and the like. During your first visit, your therapist will provide you with treatment recommendations that meet your unique needs.
What is the cost of care?
Our services are frequently covered by third party payers such as commercial insurance and managed care plans, Medicare and Medicaid; we also offer a sliding fee scale for individuals and families with limited financial resources.
How do I apply for services?
To apply for services, please telephone our Access Center at (609) 587-6641
What will happen during my first appointment?
When you arrive for your first appointment, our reception staff will ask you to complete some preliminary paperwork and then you will meet with your assigned clinician for a private interview. During that meeting, your reasons for seeking help will be discussed and a treatment plan with recommendations will be completed. If you decide to continue in treatment with us, your provider will make these arrangements with you, including appointments with our psychiatry staff for medication services if needed.
