The Children's Day Treatment Program has been providing professional, mental health services for children for over 25 years. The program, located at the Lanning School in Ewing, NJ, has a growing demand for services and continues to offer comprehensive, therapeutic, after-school care for troubled children ages 6-15. The goal of the program is to prevent psychiatric hospitalization of children, re-hospitalization of children and prevent extended out-of-home placements. The Day Treatment Program operates as a full-day summer camp during the months of July and August, and has also begun to provide Saturday programs during the school year.
The Family Guidance Center staff of dedicated and highly trained professionals will develop a treatment plan that uniquely responds to each child's needs. Treatment is completely confidential. Medicaid is accepted as a form of payment for services. Family Guidance Center is a licensed mental health facility and is accredited by the Council on Accreditation Services for Families and Children, Inc.
