HIV Case Management (609) 393-2988
Family Guidance Center employs an HIV Specialist who is responsible for providing confidential HIV counseling for any person receiving services at the agency. Risk assessment and education are done in a confidential setting. The HIV Case Manager also offers case management services for persons living with HIV/AIDS. Case management consists of assisting clients with accessing programs and services such as medical assistance, housing, mental health counseling, nutritional services, support groups, and educational opportunities where they can learn more about living with HIV. General support, encouragement and education about the disease are essential for persons living with HIV/AIDS so that they may become knowledgeable and empowered. The HIV Case Manager strives to provide such support for every client engaged in services. The HIV Case Manager is also available to provide education for groups of adults, adolescents, service providers and caregivers.
